A total of 9 project meetings are foreseen.
Workshops
ELECTRA will organize several workshops. At the present time three technical workshops have been agreed and specified by the ELECTRA partners:
- The first one will be organized by METFILTER in Madrid (Spain) towards the end of the first year of the project. The participants to this workshop will be acquainted to the fundamentals and applications of the BES and other biotechnologies developed within the ELECTRA project. This workshop will also include a tour to the electrified wetlands installation.
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the workshop has been postponed for Sept 2021 at the EU-ISMET meeting in Girona, Spain. - The second workshop will be organized in China towards the end of Year 3 of the project and will focus on on-site training on the developed technologies using the bioremediation systems built during R&D activities of WP4.
- The final ELECTRA workshop will be organized by FHNW/UNIBO in the end of year 4 at the ECOMONDO environmental exhibition in Rimini (Italy).
Prior to the completion of the project, an investment workshop with investors and companies will take place in Shanghai at the Swiss consulate.
